Won't someone please think of The ChildrenTM? Apparently, as long as gay marriage is legal, according to the anti-gay marriage folks, "...teachers will be required to teach young children there is no difference between gay marriage and traditional marriage" starting in Kindergarten, no less!
The whole story is here. And yes, those wingnuts actually live in this state. Some of them even live in this city.
Now for something not so serious, I'm getting dental work done in the first week of August (getting a crown done) and I'm looking for recommendations on music to try and drown out the noise from the drill!
I've got some Metallica, so that's not a problem. But I'd like to have something besides that to listen to while I'm in the chair!
Any ideas?

Date: 2008-07-28 02:38 am (UTC)You could also listen to:
* Rammstein: I particularly enjoy "Engel," "Du Hast," and "Du Riechst so Gut."
* Rob Zombie: White Zombie's "More Human than Human" and "Super-Charger Heaven" and maybe "Thunder Kiss '65" and "Black Sunshine;" and Rob's own "Dragula," "Superbeast," and "Feel So Numb." I'm not a "Living Dead Girl" fan but lots love it. I could give you more Rob recs if you want, so let me know.
I'd say that all three- Static-X, Rammstein and Rob's work- are on the dance metal edge, so they can get to be rather toe tapping (or head banging if you're into that. ;-))
