Kellie shared something with me from the most recent Ladies Room (that's the BNL fan club, for those that don't know) newsletter - probably one of the only interesting things in it - from a Q & A with Tyler Stewart.

Q: Do you read the fanfiction that's posted on fan sites?

A: I don't know why some fans think we're lovers. There's some sort of strange notion that they want to see us making out or something. We don't actually do that.... or do we? That is the question. It's actually Kevin doing all the writing. It's true documentation that comes across as fan fiction but it's Biography... that stuff is so funny. We've got some horny fans out there, and that's cool.

In the interest of equal time, blah blah blah, here's my response to Tyler's comments.

Dear Tyler:

Glad to see that you've got a sense of humour about the fan fiction. As for those of us that write slash (fiction) - the homoerotic tales you were discussing - well, when you've got Ed and Steve kissing onstage every night, it piques one's imagination and those pistons start firing in our dirty minds.

Most of us know that more than likely, you're not lovers. We just take what we witness from the occasionally innuendo-laden banters and the infamous kiss, and run with it. As far as possible. Besides, there's nothing wrong with necking onstage - keeps things interesting, and the gals love it.

Your comment about Kevin actually writing the stuff - well, he is quite the enigmatic one, so I wouldn't put it past him to do something like that. Like they say, you have to watch those quiet ones - they end up causing the most trouble.

Finally, there's no shame in horny fans. But you know that already.

Signed,
Carly

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to try roasting marshmallows over candlelight again. Gal's gotta keep herself entertained somehow.

They need to get back onto the road! The message boards on various fansites are becoming Drama Diva Central because people are getting frustrated!

And yeah, I should renew my Ladies Room membership, too.

Yeah, I'm with you there. I haven't seen them since December of 2001 in Indy, and that's WAY too long!
