Now for something less serious

hiddenmuseI was fussing with my nails today - my nail polish is peeling, about 3 days post-manicure - and I thought of something from my childhood: peel-off nail polish.
Does anyone else remember this? Typically it was under the "Tinkerbell" brand, and usually came in 'sheer pink' - kind of like a tinted top coat, or sometimes even in "actual colors" like pink and some shade of peachy-orange.
Fun stuff. I think I painted my nails (and peeled off the polish) at least a few times a day! I kind of wish that they made it for adults - that would be quite fun. :-)
Okay ... so I checked it out, and it turns out that they make it for "grown-ups", too!
Sure it's all nice and environmentally-friendly, and "good for the body", but I refuse to give up my lust for Chanel Nail Polish, especially in the classic Vamp shade. And I'm not parting with my OPI - Lincoln Park After Dark either!

Date: 2007-08-23 06:18 am (UTC)I think I'd used it once - when I had my nails done at a salon that had a couple of Chanel shades among the other brands - and it worked out pretty nicely. Just not $20 for a bottle of nail polish good.
