hiddenmuse1) The Personal Lines Department of the insurance agency I work for is unofficially dubbed the "Prozac Nation" since it's been discovered that everyone in the department is (or has been) on antidepressants, or has been treated for depression at one time in their life. Failing that, they work with people that are on meds, or are seeking help for their depression - so they're on the meds vicariously. If nothing else, we all get along quite well, which is a very good thing.
2) I love the Jimmy Fallon CD. The "Troll Doll Jingles" segment is stuck in my head - but when Coldplay's "Yellow" is turned into a song about Troll Dolls, that's hard to avoid. Did I mention that I love "Idiot Boyfriend", and that I'd swear that I probably dated a few of those Idiot Boyfriends in my time?
3) Silk Chocolate Soy milk tastes wierd. It's like Soylent Milk or something. So, I think if I'm hard-up for chocolate milk, I'll take a Lactaid (or take my chances) and drink the real stuff.
4) As of Sunday (the 13th), I've been at the insurance agency for 5 years. Started out as the receptionist, moved up to Customer Service Assistant - with the possibility of moving up from there. :) Currently, I'm the senior member in the department - even if I have others over me.
5) I could sit and bitch about spending $25 for the Prevacid - but I'd be taking my insurance for granted, which would be stupid. Especially since I'm taking part in a Cafeteria Plan where I pay in so much every month towards medical/dental expenses and transit expenses - and I can turn in receipts for prescription and doctor's visit co-pays, bus passes, etc. and get reimbursed for that. So what if I have to pay that money out? In two weeks, I can turn in the receipts and get my money back. :)
6) Have I ever mentioned that I like Merrill Markoe? I'd read something written by her in the book Creme de la Femme, which was put out several years back, and it still has me laughing. She'd written about party planning - comparing her style to Martha Stewart's. The best suggestion? Don't forget that "music can establish and sustain an easy mood." I prefer a simple loop tape of AC/DC singing "Highway to Hell". But select your own favorites, depending upon your theme.
