No Bump n' Grind in my life ...
Feb. 19th, 2004 05:33 pmUnless bumping (okay, more like banging) my knee on the ice at my parents' house on Sunday - and grinding my teeth like a madwoman - counts for something.
Tonight is my next-to-last Non Prophets show. It's hard to believe, you know? 6 months of shows, and a group of people that have become like friends to me - and I'm leaving them behind to pursue an insane dream of trying life out west.
Just a couple more days of work, too. Unbelievable. It just blows my mind that my time is almost up here - it's gone by so quickly. Too quickly, almost.
Tomorrow night, I'm going to see Glengarry Glen Ross - supporting Tyson & Schmack in their roles. :) Just like a good groupie should, right? ;P
It'll be fun - and I know that once I get out to California, I'll be trying to not go crazy when I realize that my usual Thursday night ritual isn't happening anymore. No more getting home from work, making dinner, changing my clothes and walking down the street to the Hi-Pointe to see my favorite comedy group perform.
An aside - I finally broke out H-Wing, after not listening to it for several months. It was just so hard to listen to with my stepdad having been diagnosed as having cancer himself - and everything else that has gone along with that near-interminable journey.
