All I ever do is complain ....

I'm at work, in pain ... part of my face is apparently swollen, and the Advil wasn't cutting it, so I broke down and took a Tylenol with Codeine.

Considering that they didn't do a thing to me last night - I still woke up in the night, and when I got out of bed, I was in a hell of a lot of pain - I'm hoping that I'll be alright this afternoon.

Tonight, when I get home, I'm using warm compresses or whatever it takes, along with more pain meds. If I'm still miserable tomorrow, I'm calling the dentist.

I accept no responsibility if I sound incoherent....

It's official. I'm no fun when stoned on painkillers. As a matter of fact, I'm feeling really drowsy. And still in some pain.

Anyways, my dentist has made it onto my list of Good People. Today was probably the first time I'd had a dentist's office call me the day after major work to see how I was doing. And I told them the truth - I was in serious pain. So, I was told to double-up on my Keflex for the next 2 doses tonight, and let them know how I'm doing in the morning. If I'm still in pain, they'll get me in to take care of whatever may be causing the pain. And oh yeah, I was given the go-ahead to take a 2nd Tylenol with codeine 4 hours after the first one, hence my feeling drowsy and a bit stoned.

I was planning to do laundry before taking that 2nd dose ... but since I feel a bit dizzy when I stand up, perhaps I should just bypass laundry tonight. I've got clothes for tomorrow - I'll just have to get some laundry done tomorrow night.

Now, I just need to try and get something to eat so I can take my antibiotics (woohooo).
