Last night I made the mistake of wearing a pair of sandals that I probably shouldn't have. Today, I have a blister on one foot, and strap burns (really) on the other. So I am in my favorite Doc Marten sandals, bandaged up and in knee-highs to keep the bandages on - feeling like an ass. Looks like my sister will get another pair of shoes for dress-up/growing into. She'll be happy, because she likes platforms (which they are).

Today, the other end of my body will be in angst. Dentist appointment this afternoon. The dreaded root canal and such. Since I don't know if this one will be Novocaine only, or perhaps some good drugs, I've abstained from taking my allergy meds. Yes, I'm sneezy and feeling funky. Hey, it takes my mind off my sore foot and the dentist. ;)

And finally, I get to look for a new neurologist. My current (whom I haven't seen in too long - not good) is not listed in the insurance directory. Even though I loved her to death, I need to see someone closer in proximity to where I live and work - as well as someone in-network, so I'm not stuck with those swell out-of-pocket expenses. Besides, I really should get in for a check-up with the neurologist, if only to make sure that my meds are where they should be. Joys. Yet another doctor to visit. Please, beat me now.

Have a good day everyone. :-D

Well, I survived the root canal (part 1 of 2, at least) and thankfully, there was no need to take the crown out to do the work. (This is a VERY good thing, as it's money that my insurance doesn't have to pay out for a new crown) I'm back on the Keflex (antibiotic) and got a prescription for some Tylenol with Codeine - which is good, as the 3 Advil I took a couple of hours ago aren't doing much. In two weeks, I go back to get the root canal finished.

So now I'm home - got into my PJs after getting my prescriptions filled - and I think I'll be going to bed soon. I'm either tired from getting all hopped up over not much - or the Codeine is kicking in.

Tomorrow will hopefully be a better day. Heck, I survived the dentist, and the agency is giving a despised insurance company (Hawkeye Security) a much-needed boot in the tuchas - we've gotten an appointment to write with a much better company (Encompass). :)

Good night - and good day!
