Is there anyone else stuck at work, too?

Lucky me, this chest cold is still malingering, and the weather changing from cold to almost warm back to cold certainly isn't helping any. Then again, I wouldn't call the doctor about it until I'm close to coughing up a lung ... so I'm still doing the "watchful waiting" thing.

In the meantime, I'm here at the office, wishing that I were in bed, sleeping all day. Ah well - at least I'll have January 2nd off work.

I have to buzz out to the boss's place to check the mail, bring in packages, etc. I also have a few memos and letters to whip up, so I'm doing a half day. Then it's off to a movie this afternoon. We might go see Elf.

And they're talking about closing the office early, so long as the phones stay quiet! *continues to send DON'T CALL vibes to the clients* So, I may end up doing some after-Christmas shopping - or I may just go home and crash!
