I know very little about some of the people on my friends' list. Some people I know really well, some I've hardly talked to at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason or we just never got a chance to chit chat. But you friended me and I thank you :)

But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...she likes to watch tv upside down."

I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this, please! Even you people who I know really well. Then post this in your own journal.

Hi Carly, my name is Angel. ;) I like long walks on the beach…err, wait, wrong one. ;) I like music, movies, friends, shopping, hot fudge sundaes without nuts, brand new jeans, clean sheets, long books, working out, talking to my best friend Andy for hours on the phone about absolutely nothing, and going on road trips.
I have a huge (entirely harmless, I assure you, in light of recent events) girlie crush on Tyler Stewart and Kevin Hearn and an online crush on this wicked cool chick named Carly who, alas, has a girlfriend ;), I’m learning to play the mandolin and trying to work on perfecting my singing so I can win some more karaoke. I’ve been in love too many times, been married for 8 months once a long time ago (seems like another lifetime), pregnant once, fought and won out on the war on drugs (except some days I’m not sure), survived an abusive relationship and landed myself currently in another one, and I work as an insurance bitch for a mortgage company. I like to eat (too much, I think), drink (yeah, definitely too much on this one), and have a lot of fun in the exciting metropolis known as Detroit.

My all-time favourite quote is from Robert Frost: “In three words, I can sum up everything I have learned about life- it goes on.”

I’m just your average sane/psycho, pansexual, creative, distracted, sweet, lovable, smart Midwestern girl. ;0)
