But today is Remembrance Day", to quote Odds.

Or, as those of us Stateside know it, Veterans Day.


So before I risk being a total rude-ass, I want to say Happy Veterans Day / Remembrance Day to those that fought in our behalf. Thank you.


I may be nicely pacifistic, but I will give respect to my dad, his father, my mom's dad and other family members that have served in the military and fought in wars. They are far more brave than I could ever be.

Ah, Odds. So underappreciated here in the states, but such a good band. (By the way, it's "Odds", not "the Odds". Nit-picking, sure, but one must correct these things.)

Sorry, I didn't mean to be such a music Nazi. It's just one of those things that irk me. Some bands use "the", others do not. (I get this way also when people use "good" when they mean "well".) Your taste in music definitely makes up for that little error. :^)

I didn't have my Kids In The Hall - Brain Candy soundtrack in front of me, so I couldn't remember. I just thought it was funny that all I could think of was the lyrics to "Eat My Brain"!

And I don't mind someone being a Music Nazi - at least you're nice about it. ;)
