Today has been one of those days that I just want to jump up on the desk and scream at my clients. Tell the Problem Children that they are the reason I sometimes dread coming into work. They are the reason I wake up in the night, grinding my teeth. They are the reason I am keeping the makers of Nexium and Effexor in the black.
The stories are almost interminable, and I'll tell them when I have more time. I just wanted to vent for a moment on that.
Now, onto something else I'm having trouble wrapping my little mind around: Winona Ryder dating Page Hamilton of Helmet.
Page Hamilton - a man that I admired for having a Jazz degree and playing heavy metal. (Yes, even in my superficial early 20s, I could appreciate a smart man. Don't get me started on my admiration of Bad Religion's Greg Graffin....) Dating Winona Ride-him, errrr, Ryder.
Tell me, is it really annoying to have Security Guards trail you in the mall, making sure that your girlfriend doesn't do any 5-finger discount shopping? How does it feel to know that you're basically another notch on her "Did Him" list? She wanted to bonk Jack White, but he's dating Renee Zellweger. Ryan Adams is with Leona Naess, and Steven Page is too chubby for her tastes - besides, he's married.
So, she picks you, Mr. Hamilton. Tell me, how does it feel?
