Jun. 6th, 2003 08:08 pmFirst, thank you to everyone that read my whining posts the past couple of days - and thank you for the kind words. I'm starting to feel better - maybe not 100% yet, but I'm getting there. :)
Work has had its moments. As quickly as our receptionist left, another one was hired in (yeah, I know ... really damn fast) - like, the day after she'd interviewed. She's a Utah State graduate (and for all three that know my family, no, she doesn't know Dan personally ... hehe) and that's about all I know. I'm thinking we'll get the big hoo-hah - introductions and all, on Monday.
The funny thing is, while this gal interviewed with Lydia (her interviewing style is a *bit* unorthodox), she was trotted around the office while Lydia ran faxes back to people. But ... what really makes it interesting is that Lydia and our new receptionist came to my desk and saw me wearing my tiara and an ice pack on my jaw. How professional, I know. ;) I'm surprised that she took the job after witnessing that.
Otherwise, it's business as usual.
In other news, I did get a full night's sleep last night - even got in a nap - which was wonderful. Sugar-free black cherry Jell-O is really good stuff. My feet are healing up very nicely after that shoe debacle from Monday.
And
therealsugshady, I did get your e-mail, and I'll respond to it this weekend. I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner hon, just thought you'd rather get a response from me when my head was on a little straighter! :)
Have a good night - and a swell weekend - everyone!
*hugs and kisses all around* ;)
