Happy (belated) Mothers Day to all the moms - and moms-to-be! I was being a good daughter (heh) and spent Mother's day with my family ... hence my not posting well wishes until today. (And yes, the Happy Mothers Day wishes do extend to your wives,

hofmannison and

agoblin - even though the babies haven't arrived yet!)

Besides that, today was another visit to the dentist. Thankfully, I get a brief repreive from Dental Hell - that is, until I get the papers from the insurance company giving the go-ahead for the work. Then, we'll be stretching out the work to do what has to be done as soon as possible, and the rest will be done in the next calendar year, when the benefits are up again. :) This is so I'm not getting spanked financially - especially since the only crown I need is about $1500 (for everything it entails), or half the damage bill.

My mouth is hurting - guess I got a bit cocky after last week's visit, when things went very smoothly. So, I'm going to take 600 mgs of Advil and just whine to myself.

As for my disappearing sex drive ... it was being sublimated so I could work on writing smut. Cheesy as hell title, hot sex and one of the Usual Suspects. :-x (No, not Mary Sue self-insertion dreck ... I'm going to Hell for writing slashfic, and writing the fanfic that dare not speak its name. That's all I can say.)

Speaking of smut ... I'm thinking of revising one of my stories and submitting it to the Bust Magazine/Good Vibrations erotic writing contest. Why not? I write the stories generically enough that those that know me know who I'm writing about - but since I'm careful to cover my ass ... I *will* change any possibly identifying traits. As vague as they might be.

That's all I've got for now. Perhaps more later - or when I'm feeling up to being more sociable and not so sore.
