I survived the dentist's appointment - today was just one filling. Next week, I get at least one more filling done ... and a root canal to be done at some point in time.

I also found one of the ways to work my girlfriend's nerves ... or keep her on her toes ... haven't decided which yet: I mentioned to her that while she was in NYC falling in love with Jimmy Fallon, I was reading the BNL Blog and wanting Ed Robertson to talk Geometry to me. {That's right, Daddy ... tell me about those hypotenuses, degrees, areas, perimeters. Talk to me about sines, cosines and tangents. Maybe later we can work up some ... fractals.} I conveniently left out that Steve would be chaperoning - although we'd both be gawking at Ed's hands, each thinking of what is possible with those hands in our respective (dirty) minds.

And finally, for all three or four that care, I got an award for one of my fanfics. "Best Use of Kevin for Evil", no less. ;)

I'll probably write something more substantive later ... but for now, that's all I've got to say.
