Mar. 3rd, 2003 09:56 pmI was in a crabby mood today, so I thought it best to lay low this evening.
Rather than take it out on everyone else, I worked on doing some of the small repairs in the apartment. I went to Home Depot after work, and got the necessities to replace the broken shower tiles. After coming home and doing that, I schlepped the mattress around so I could take care of the bedframe, which had been loose near the foot of the bed - and was squeaky as hell.
So, I was working on feeling accomplished tonight. That and I heard something on NPR's The Connection discussing Dante's Inferno, a book that I'd started ... but with my lacking attention span, didn't continue. So, I've gotten the book out, and will try to continue reading, only because I'm a big-time geek.
Finally, thanks to Ms. Mace
mace_acme for linking to this in her lj - it was so good, I had to link to it myself: If You Have Set Yourself On Fire, Do Not Run Unfortunately, it's since been closed to responses, but it's still a funny thread. :)
