I'm Afraid ... Very Afraid
Dec. 14th, 2002 08:10 amI'd gotten the MAIA (Missouri Association of Insurance Agents) Newsletter in my e-mail at work yesterday, and after getting through the news, I came upon this:
Actor Rob Schneider is in final negotiations to star in "The Adventures of Sinbad the Insurance Salesman", a Paramount comedy about an insurance company employee who's unlucky in love until he meets a girl who changes his life. Paramount paid a $500,000 advance for the spec script by Mike Reiss, a writer on "The Simpsons".
That was just disturbing. First he's a cut-rate manwhore, now he's a sorority girl trapped in a man's body, and next, he'll be going through the motions as an insurance geek. Dammit. :-/
And I have recovered from last night's seizure. I slept for a few hours, woke up at 1:30 in the morning, stayed awake for a while, then went back to sleep until 8:00. Now, I think I may go back down for another nap.
