La La La La Lycanthropy ;)
Nov. 27th, 2002 11:20 pmAfter going on that journaling spree last night, I decided to unwind by listening to the Dead Presidents soundtrack. Isaac Hayes singing "The Look Of Love" had me in shivers for a bit. Got me thinking about how Marvin Gaye, Barry White, Al Green and Isaac Hayes have the most amazing voices, and how I could listen to their music for hours and not get bored. :)
Today, the office closed at 3 p.m., and yes, I did leave by 3:30 ... hehe. I went to Target to pick up some necessities - Rabbit Chow, pantyhose (bleargh), a car for my brother, Taylor's Christmas ornament, and an ornament for the tree at work. Then, I went to Borders to get the Rugrats Chanukkah Special - a personal, and family, favorite. Finally, I went to Circuit City to get a couple of CDs - Michelle Branch and For The Kids.
Then, I went to the pharmacy & spent almost $40 for prescriptions. Yes, my heartburn meds were up - and I've been feeling it. So, before going into the bacchanal that is Thanksgiving with my dad's family, I thought I should get that refilled. Argh ... I have nothing against having these meds, it's just a pain in the ass that the drug companies seem to specialize in price gouging. But, I'll save that rant for another time.
I should be thankful that these meds even exist in the first place. If it weren't for seizure meds, or heartburn meds, or even those *fun* antibiotics, I don't know what I'd do, honestly.
I should be thankful that what I have to deal with can be treated with relative ease, because some don't have it as easy as I do.
Hell, I should be thankful that I have a job that I like that keeps a roof over my head, and keeps me in all the other necessities.
So before I become a rudeass ...
Happy Thanksgiving!
