hiddenmuseI was home sick from work yesterday - which is a very rare thing for me to do, and I almost didn't do it.
But, I'd gone to the doctor Thursday and found out that I had a sinus infection that morphed into bronchitis (i.e.; my annual cold) - so spending a good part of the work day hacking and wheezing isn't such a great idea. Instead, I got to stay home and do it. As well as find out how boring as hell it is to stay at home on a weekday.
So, it was a lot of sleeping, watching some TV and making sure to drink plenty of fluids (Coca-cola counts, right?).
Today, I actually ventured out of the house, and into the world to get my hair cut. And return home immediately afterwards.
I'm still feeling kind of run-down and going through the whole cough/hack/wheeze/sneeze deal, especially since I was woken up in the middle of the night with a sinus headache. It seems like I'm either being tag-teamed by this respiratory infection, or I'm just being hit with both simultaneously.
Either way, I think I'm just going to take it easy today, even though I know that there are things that I could be doing besides sitting and watching TV, while curled up in a blanket with my feline nurses nearby.

im about to breakout the hazmat suit to avoid this sucker
for me it turns into walking pneumonia :(
