Skirting the issue

It's become quite apparent to me that it's been a long-ass time since I've worn a skirt.

How did I reach this conclusion? Hmmmm, maybe it's the fact that I'm in a knee-high skirt, and I feel like the damn thing is hiked up so high that people can see my panties.

So, I try to sit as carefully as possible. Drape my hoodie over my legs when I'm not sitting behind my desk. Walking around is just a little weird.

Now, I'm going to head over to Body Manipulations to get my tragus jewelry changed - I can finally go back to a shorter stud, because the swelling has gone down considerably. :-)

What this means is a bus (or BART) ride where I get to keep my legs covered and my skirt as hiked down as possible, while I walk the couple of blocks up to the shop. Then, I walk back to the bus stop/ BART station and do it all over again.

Woohooo.

i'm having the same problem today! my knee-length skirt makes me feel a little naked. i wear skirts all the time, but always long ones. seriously, though, it wasn't that gosh darn long ago that i was comfortable wearing almost-mini-skirts to school....ok, maybe it was that long ago, and maybe that's not such a bad thing.
