I was trying to show off and be cool for this boy in the office who has a nerdy crush on me, and I ended up making a jackass of myself. We were celebrating our recent 6 Maggie award wins (I work at a magazine) and he opened a bottle of Anchor Steam beer with a bottle opener, and I was making fun of him cause it's a twist off cap. He said something along the lines of "oh yeah, well, let me see YOU do it!" so I grabbed a bottle out of the cooler (with ice in it, thus the bottle and cap were wet) and attempted to take the cap off. Instead, the bottle slid in my hand and the edge of the metal cap cut my finger. I played it off cool, though. I used my shirt (which seemed to surprise him that I was that butch about it) and tried to cover up the fact that i was bleeding.
Anyway, yes, Carly is a very good nurse. Were it not for the needles thing, she could make it a profession.
