Kellie had told me this morning that a mutual friend's wife had gone into labor, so we're eagerly awaiting the news that we are now aunties. So far, nothing yet ... and I feel like a freak for checking in on his blog every half-hour or so, looking to see if there's more news.

But, I'm anxious! I get to be that cool, crazy aunt soon! (Yes, our friend has designated us as aunties to his baby.)

Now, I'm just hoping that in time, my brother and sister-in-law will have a baby, so I can truly be an aunt. :-D

thats so exciting! being an aunt rocks, my older brother has three kids and my younger sister has one boy..i am an awesome auntie anne :)

Cleo is the red tabby cat, and he was looking out of the slightly open window next to my computer desk.

I think he was enjoying the outdoors from the safety of the apartment. :-)
