hiddenmuseAs much as I hate anything having to do with dentistry, I had to suck it up and go to the endodontist today.
Luckily, there was no major work required - just re-shaping a crown that was fucking up my bite.
Also, it helps that the office had an alt-rock station on, so I heard Soundgarden, Foo Fighters and some Linkin Park. Much better than my dentist's office, where getting my gums ripped apart was accompanied by James Blunt's whiny "You're Beautiful".
And did I mention that my endodontist looks like an ink-free Andy Hurley? Yeah ... if he wasn't married, and I wasn't partnered, I'd risk getting into some impropriety with him. Okay, maybe not ... it would be an interesting thought, though.

Date: 2007-04-06 01:06 am (UTC)And yes, I think it's quite weird that dentists, doctors, repairmen, etc. are closer to my age. My internist is perhaps 5 years older than me, and he looks like he's in his 20s! Also, there's the whole "ma'am" thing. That makes me feel like I'm about 70 years old ... lol
