Good to be back

Well, here I am ... I know, I've been a stranger, and I apologize for that.

The funeral went well - I liked that it was more of a celebration of his life, rather than mourning.

Thank you all for the prayers, good thoughts and hugs - that really carried me through a very rough situation.
:-)



Now, this coming Monday, I will be going home for Christmas. It's nice to be going back home, under better and happier circumstances.


So, how are y'all doing? What do you have planned for the holidays?

Hello! Hope you have a great Christmas. :) We're doing it at home this year, but today we have to haul the kids to Statesville to have an extended family dinner. ~checks watch~ Drat. Only 20 more minutes to play online before it's time to head out.

This year I have pretty much successfully ignored the holidays!! Next year I will have to be more into it tho cause my almost two year old will be almost 3, but just for this year, I decided to take a year off from all the Mom-driven preparations (tree, lites, etc)

I don't blame you at all for skipping Christmas! My mom had said that she wants to spend next Christmas in Jamaica. Sounds good to me - now, let's see if it happens!
