I don't feel pretty today. Not in the least. Instead, I feel crappy and grumpy - and it turns out that the allergies, along with the wildly shape-shifting weather have brought on a sinus infection. (That would explain yesterday's feeling of being smacked in the face repeatedly)

So, I'll be calling the Good Doctor^TM again, to let him know about this - only because if I don't stay on top of it, I could wind up having bronchitis again. And once was enough for me.


In good news, I found some 800 mg Ibuprofen that Kellie had given to me, so I'll be taking that for the headache and sinus pain ... and I'll see what the doctor suggests for the sinus infection.

sorry to hear about your sinus infection - they totally suck... our weather has been so out of wack and with my constant travel schedule, it seems like I have been on the same sinus infection since November.... I just want the doctors to cut off my nose so I can breathe normally.

No kidding! I was about ready to ask for a jackhammer or something equally drastic when I went to Walgreen's this morning. Instead, I just got some Breathe Right strips - they might not look so hot, but they can help a little bit with the breathing! :-)

And I'm sorry that you're dealing with sinus infections too. Damn weather. I'll be happy if/when it balances itself out.

What I'm a bit worried about is that maybe all the traveling I do for this work might not work with my body. My last trip it was pouring rain here in LA... then I went to Birmingham which was dry and sunny but then suddenly it rained one night... then I came back to LA which rained... obviously my sinus is a wreck from all that!

So I dunno... I have a 3 hour appointment with an allergist today.. maybe he can give me something or suggest something.... I hear there are sinus washes that are pretty effective...

I'm just tired of not being able to breathe and being nasally - all my co-workers and our clients think I'm just real sickly and I'm not!!!!

(well maybe mentally I'm sick but...)

Wow - that does sound like a wild variation in climates, going from LA to Birmingham - and back again!

I'd imagine that the allergist could help a lot - they could determine if the sinus infections are caused by allergies, along with climate changes ... or possibly other triggers. My allergist is this excellent gay man from Canada - love him - who treats his patients with respect and decency, as well as making sure that we're well-educated! The only sucky thing was the allergy testing. :-/

Hope everything works out for you, too - and that you like the allergist as much as I like mine!
