I'm trying to stay awake here ... while a co-worker has the domestic water torture known as Celine Dion playing over her computer. I had store managers in Retail Hell that used that sort of dreadful music to keep the AARP crowd/Mall Walkers coming around in the daytime - apparently Notorious B.I.G. just didn't work as well as the 16 year old co-workers expected it would. {/sarcasm}


In the meantime, due to the Lexapro/Caffeine interaction, I can't have caffeine until after 11 a.m. ... so, I get to force myself to stay awake somehow. Next step - propping my eyelids open with toothpicks.

Wait, Lexapro-caffeine interaction? I hadn't heard about this one...maybe this is my problem! Tell me more?

I haven't seen it written up anywhere (i.e., WebMD.com, etc.), but I'd personally noticed that if I have caffeine within 1 - 2 hours of taking my Lexapro, I get jittery and very antsy in a bad way.

So, I find that it's easier to just avoid caffeine for that window of time before and after taking the Lexapro. Thankfully, it's gone down from the 3 hours that it was originally!
