Old Navy update

back from the Old Navy adventure ... and made the wonderful discovery that even their mannequins are of a more voluptuous build - with actual arms, boobs, waists and hips! :-)

That's right, my lovelies ... no plus-sized clothing pinned onto the skinny mannequins to make it fit. Instead, we get mannequins that are meant to fit into the clothes, and can give us a good idea of how the clothes lie on the body!


As for my clothing purchases, I picked up a pair of black pinstriped pants, a pair of blue fine-wale cordouroy pants (dressy enough for work - casual enough for the weekends) and a spiffy new striped button-down shirt.

The skirts were cool looking, but I'm kind of in an awkward position ... the 20W fits perfectly, but may only fit me for a short time. The 18W is snug, but does not fit properly right now. So, I've decided to wait until the 18 fits better before I invest in a new skirt.

That is most excellent, Carly! I'm finding myself between sizes as well, and it sucketh. Trying to find the right size, but it's also the variance in sizing. Yay for fun new clothes!!!!

We're now Old Navy black pinstriped pants twins!! :-D I have two different pairs, one bought in the last few weeks and one bought a few months ago. I just love getting these cheap work-friendly pants at Old Navy!
