"There Goes The Neighborhood!"
Dec. 2nd, 2003 01:38 pm...in the words of Ice-T and Body Count, however many years ago. Or, should I really be saying, "There goes the department!"
Yes, another co-worker will be leaving - right about the same time I am, it seems. She was offered a job with a company closer to home, better benefits and all, that may start anytime between mid-January and early February.
They're really gonna hate this, that's for sure!!
Last night, I got to indulge in mind-numbing television by watching Average Joes. I know that a few of the gals in the![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
beautifulcurves community were rankled by Malena's wearing a fat suit and all, to test the guys out, but personally, I thought it was a pretty cool - albeit slightly wicked - idea.
And good for her getting rid of Zack - I never really liked him all that much, and his comments about "getting in with the DUFF (Designated Ugly Fat Friend) to get to the hot girl" hit too close to home for me, but I won't go there. Zack was too busy over-compensating for his geekiness by being an asshole. And obviously being a two-faced asshole, at that.
Besides, Adam's cute - and a bit wonky - in his own ways. So, that's my two cents on that.
Now, I have a lot of crap to catch up on - as well as attempting to train the High Muckety Muck's oldest on how to do the billing. Yeah, this will be *too much* fun.
