Sickies of the World Untie!
Nov. 6th, 2002 06:34 pmYes, I finally broke down and called the doctor this morning for a prescription for this sinus infection. Also on the prompting of co-workers and Dr. Mom all saying that I sounded miserable, and if I needed to go home, I could ... I went home after working in the morning.
So I went to the pharmacy and picked up my prescriptions (antibiotics and cough syrup), went home, got into my jammies, made something quick to eat (hard-boiled eggs), took my meds and went down for a nap.
Looking at the information from the pharmacy, my cough syrup has codeine in it. Yay for narcotics! It also has a decongestant and antihistamine - but the codeine is gonna make work really fun tomorrow, that's for sure! ;)
Now, I'm gonna go back to being a slacker in jammies - time to watch the Barenaked Ladies DVD I went out in a bit of rain to pick up last night. Oh yeah, and call my mom to tell her that I'm okay.
