Today seems to be going better. Last night, I went home & began cleaning out my closet - found a savings bond I'd gotten in '96. The utility check did go through - and is going to be returned, which means that I have to pay them again, along with a surcharge. Ugh. If nothing else, I do have a small amount of cash in the bank - thanks to cashing in the bond.

I should have some more money in the account by Wednesday, so I will be fine. There's food in the pantry, I just have to get back into the cooking habit again. I have money for my meds tomorrow night. The rec center is free, and I'll be alright again soon. :)

Saturday, I should be getting my skates sealed and the blades sharpened, so I can start ice-skating again. Sunday, I'll be doing the Epilepsy walk with my mom & sister (mom's paying & I'll just pay her back).

That's all - I've gotta get back to work now!

I've managed to get sh*t done around here. For the most part. Some of the stuff I was working on was taken off my desk & given to others to worry in. That's a good thing, since today I had my share of calls. Yes, apparently I'm being transitioned into the full-on CSR mode, a few months sooner than I realized. :-D

It's kind of strange looking up accounts in the computer and seeing my name as CSR - I don't think I'd ever imagined that I'd move up and onward in the agency. Nor did I ever think I'd have business cards, or my own workspace - which is being expanded soon. Right when I've gotten used to my almost-claustrophobic little plot in the Cube Farm, too! {/sarcasm}

But, here I am. Still inclined to taking off my pantyhose halfway through the day - because they were getting massive runs. Still talking to myself in between calls. Still grumbling at the computer when it screws up. Same me, different title.

Remind me to research withdrawing money from the 401(k). Just a small amount, like I told Kellie - just enough for plane tickets, since I'll be staying with friends on my possible trip to California in the fall. :) {Before anyone says anything, I *did* have my mom suggesting that I borrow against it when I moved into my new place - if necessary. She'd also mentioned it again when the weekend sojourn to Toronto presented itself this past June. I'd be borrowing the money I'd put in already & paying myself back. Since I happen to like apartment living, and I don't foresee any real need to go back to University ... except maybe going to the Junior College for a class here or there ... I'd like to use a bit of the money for something good. Like traveling.}

Well, again, I must go - time to go home & find those Six Flags tickets.
