10 more days until Christmas, and I'm just not feeling it this year.

The tree isn't up, I haven't finished buying the presents - let alone wrapping them, and the apathy I'm experiencing is really bothering me.

Usually I'm pretty into all the Fancy Bear trappings of the holidays, now, I just feel like "blah, whatever".

This week it's Fat Week ... all yummy good stuff that leads up to our holiday party on Friday. The next evening, I'm going to a Christmas party at church with my parents - and, of course, the next week is Christmas.

I *should* be happy, but, instead I'm feeling such indifference. And I don't like it.

I feel that way every year. I never decorate my own place. I enjoy giving and receiving (*smirk*) but I don't go crazy over the holidays. In fact, I often find it downright annoying.

What is it with this year? Normally Matt and I are trying our hardest to be the next Griswold family with our decorations. This year we still don't have the trees up. We haven't even started buying Christmas presents and we've decided to set a $50 spending limit for each other. I haven't listened to any Christmas music voluntarily - not even BNL stuff - last year that Netwerks CD was in my player for almost 2 solid months.

I just don't even want to do Christmas this year. That makes me even crankier because Christmas is normally one of my favorite times of year. Pooh.
