Dec. 11th, 2003 10:10 amJust a bit of advice from your (mostly) friendly Insurance Geek --> If you're going to buy a car or a house, or even rent a place, start getting your insurance lined up before you sign any papers!
Please, don't be a fucktard like a few of my recent clients and suddenly realize - the day before closing on a loan - that "oh, maybe I do need insurance!" If you do that sort of thing, and I find out, I will personally bitchslap you on behalf of your insurance agent.
Thank you. :^D

Date: 2003-12-11 09:08 am (UTC)I work on the “fixing the title co. and/or mortgage co.’s” mistakes end, and I call insurance agencies all day long trying to haggle over payments and policy changes and endorsement clauses and changing billing terms and claims, etc.
I wonder if I’ve ever even called your agency before I “knew” you, that’s a weird thought ;)

Date: 2003-12-11 11:17 am (UTC)I'm glad that you like the entries ... it's just nice to know that I can pop over here and vent for a bit, then go back to whatever I'm doing at work! It'll probably bite me in the ass later - but that's okay. Better than being the Disgruntled Employee of the Month, eh?
