Every once in a while, I have flirted with a gay man. In other words, when the man initiated the flirtation, I flirted back.
It's quite fun, probably because as a bisexual woman, I'm not worrying that this man is trying to get into my pants - or will ask if he can watch me get it on with my girlfriend. And he doesn't have to worry that I'm going to try and get into *his* pants, either.
So it's almost like a win-win situation. You're flattering the hell out of each other with the shameless flirtation, as well as bolstering each other's egos. And you don't have to worry about disappointment or rejection at the end of the night when you find out that the person at the receiving end of your attention is queer - because you are too! ;)
Of course, it doesn't always work out that way. Not everyone is in line with this sort of thinking - I'm just a bit off-center, I know. It's just something that's happened lately, that I admittedly enjoy as a bit of a guilty pleasure.
