laynemeyer has joined today! This morning at work, I had an e-mail from him, saying that he wanted to surprise me by joining lj, but discovered that he needed a code to join. So, on my lunch hour, I got onto the 'net long enough to get a code and e-mail it to him.
By the time I came home, I had his name on my friends list, which means that one of my partners in writing crime has arrived! So, go over & pay him a visit - say hello, whatever - he's a great guy, and I know that if he ends up reading this, he may turn red. (I don't mean to embarrass you, J. I just wanted to go on about how cool I think you are.)
The other night, I came out & told an entire fan BB that I'm seeing one of our own. Not like it's anything too out of the ordinary - people have met and dated and/or fallen in love because they met on the board. It's just a little odd because I'm seeing a girl. ;) Not that being a little odd bothers me. Actually, it's kind of fun. (But, what else do you expect from someone that has "Ass Meanie/Pron Queen" as their member title?) If it hasn't been made obvious to you yet ... I'm seeing Kelliesigmaration and I think I've told the whole "how we met" story several times over already.
I still want to thank Ed Robertson for kissing Steven Page's neck, though. "Ummm, yeah, Ed? ... Because you kissed Steve's neck ... I met my girlfriend. Thanks!" *thumbs up and a dorky grin* (Yeah, like that would happen. I'd probably lose my grasp of the English language around him, and the only thing I could say is "quark!" Yeah, that would look reaaallly good.)
