*Brain Freeze*
Aug. 22nd, 2003 05:28 pmI had a witty subject in mind, but my brain ended up blanking out on me. :-/
Perhaps I'll think of a witty line for the next entry.
Anyways ... this has been an interesting week, that's for sure. And it all culminates in going to the wedding tomorrow afternoon. :) I'm really psyched about this - especially since this is the first "non-Mormon" wedding I've ever attended. I'm so used to simple ring ceremonies, followed up with receptions catered by Sam's/Costco/Your Wholesale Club Name Here in the Gym/ Cultural Hall, where I'd attended entirely too many youth dances growing up.
This is a Catholic wedding, without a Mass, as the Bride's parents aren't Catholic. Still, I'm definitely looking forward to it - and I think it'll be a lot of fun. I just have to do something about my nails - either file or trim them, then paint them; shave my legs and decide on which shoes to wear tomorrow. (You'd almost think I was within lying distance of being girly or something.) The definites are that I'll be wearing a swell Leslie Fay dress, and a Wacoal bra that I got very cheaply (along the lines of $14 for a $56 bra).
Anyways ... that's what's going on. The Lexapro is starting to kick in with the dry mouth side effect (blah), and I've been waking in the night - despite taking the Sonata. Ah well, it takes a few weeks for the meds to take effect, so I'll try to be patient and wait it out the best I can.
