mine *always* happen right after I get up. I will remember getting up, going to the bathroom, next thing I'm laying on the floor eating blood (ewwwww) I haven't a clue if I've had any petit mal ones as I'm diabetic and spacing out is normal when my blood sugar goes too high or low. and I'm (luckily?) NOT considered epiliptic as they don't know what the hell causes mine.. .it's not my diabetes but I don't have epilipsy... I couldn't handle the side effects of mine... I was on depakote and *thinks* I forget what else then FINALLY keppra... the depakote after being on it a month and a half would cause me to still be contstanly sleepy and just out of it.... I turned literally right in front of a car going about 40mph... they barely missed me... I decided that day to NEVER take depakote again... my neurologist decided that if I wouldn't thake the meds HE wanted me to take I couldn't be his patient *shakes my head* Keppra wasn't so bad... minus the cost... I couldn't afford it... I had no health insurance....so I quit... thus far none... but you know that feeling right before you have one that it's bound to happen? well... I'm just waiting... hehehe
