Ladies night out was a lot of fun - got to leave work at 4:15 instead of 5:00, and still mark myself out at 5:00. :) We spent a good portion of our entire bill on the bar tab ... yes, I was bad & indulged, had a peach margarita (yummy) and a Malibu & Coke (more like Malibu & Pepsi ... just not the same).

Anyways, because it was Patti's "90 day celebration", we'd all chipped in and bought her a ceramic candleholder with 4 different frogs circling the candleholder. Since Rachelle, Patti and I went to the restaurant before Sherry and Vicki, we asked Sherry to bring the box with her, to avoid Patti getting suspiscious.

When Sherry and Vicki arrived, I saw that Sherry had the box, and Vicki had a gift bag in her hand, so I thought "oh cool, I guess they got something for Patti, too." Well, it turns out that the gift bag was for me. :) The department gave me a small stuffed bunny and a gift certificate entitling me to a rabbit of my choice - the only stipulations being that they get to be present when I pick out the rabbit. Also, from one of our producers, I got a gift certificate for "bunny food" - probably a bag of kibble and some veggies. (Yes, it's also an excuse for us to go out after work for dinner & drinks ... then picking up the rabbit.)

That was so sweet, I almost wanted to cry. They knew about my losing Sid & how much that got to me, so their doing this for me - getting me a new rabbit - means so much.

There's probably more to say ... but I can't think of it immediately. I wanted to share that bit of good news though!
