Monday night, if you couldn't tell, was my "be a grumpy curmudgeon and snap at everything" night. So, last night, I stayed pretty much under wraps, because it was easier to be left alone than to risk still feeling grumpy.
I did get a few things accomplished: I watched a 5 minute long hailstorm outside my apartment window (it was quite literally that long) and got antsy about going into work today - so far, no claims. (Fingers crossed, all that other stuff...)
Colored my hair - I'm just pissed that Walgreens apparently no longer carries my beloved Clairol Ultress True Red ... so I went with Nice n' Easy in Medium Auburn. While it's not the red-red I'm used to having, it's still a nice color. I was close to getting something in a brighter auburn (more coppery), but since it was a weeknight and I didn't feel like staying up until the wee hours undoing a hairdo debacle ... I played it safe. :)
Today, I'm trying to be a good girl and resist the temptation to gripe at the Starbucks barista that screwed up my order & gave me a drink with coffee in it, when I'd asked nicely for no coffee. Ah well. It's a waste of energy to whine over something that minor, so I'll just be good and make up for that entirely unintentional slip somehow.
But now, I get to try and explain to a producer that when the company says "no" and I say "no" ... it means, "No, it can't be done. Deal with it."
