Random Questions

hiddenmuseA few years ago, I was occasionally posting questions from The Book of Questions - Love & Sex in my Sex Magic filter.
Well, it's been a couple of years since I've posted in that filter ... seriously slacking on that one! Anyways, I wanted to post a couple of questions from the book - nothing sexual (sorry!), but questions about love and relationships.
Note: To avoid any confusion: The questions aren't numbered 1, 2, 3, etc. because I'm going with how they are numbered in the book - mainly because I'll remember which questions were posed, and which weren't.
197) Have you ever answered or written a personals ad? If so, are you glad you did it? If not, have you ever toyed with the idea?
I'd answered a couple of ads -way back in the day, when they were in the 'alt weeklies', and nothing had happened. Like, I answered an ad but got no response, or if there was a response - nothing became of it.
Am I glad that I did it? Hard to say. I guess it's one of things where I tried it, to see what would happen.
70) If you were confident that their choice would be a good one, would you be willing to let your parents select your spouse? If not, why not?
Easy, easy answer: NO. Why not? Because they probably would've chosen a nice man for me to marry and have babies with - only to have me feeling miserable because I'm not 150% heterosexual, and leaving my husband feeling used and/or misled because his wife has no real interest in him (for obvious reasons). Unless they paired me off with a gay boy or something ... lol
48) What do you think it would be like to spend a few days with your lover and not communicate verbally?
It would be really awkward, I think. We talk a lot - even though a good portion of our time together, we don't say much of anything to each other at all! But going for a few days? I doubt it would be possible.
