She go to a church to get married!

"Yes! Married"

Well, not yet. It's happening tomorrow morning - going to City Hall, with our friend Jeska as a witness. Very small, intimate affair. Almost like an elopement ... except we'd gotten our wedding license on Thursday.

Yesterday, I found my dress at Lane Bryant (I'm kind of old-fashioned that way) - a pretty, sleeveless black and white number: here's my dress.


Tonight, we went out to LaFondue for dinner. Since we were celebrating our impending nuptials, they brought out the desert dippers with two candles in it - along with glasses of Champagne, which they've started providing for birthdays and anniversaries. At the end of the night, we'd gotten a certificate for a free bottle of Syrah or Champagne at our next visit. (Lovely, but I really don't drink - and Kellie is the driver!)


Tomorrow, is the wedding. In the afternoon, we're going to Bliss Spa for massages - which will be much-needed!


We're thrilled and so happy that we can actually get legally married (at least in this state)! Here's hoping that this will be our only wedding!
