Hi. Can we talk your orbital piercing half to death? I'd appreciate that. Currently overthinking/overanticipating; would love all the feedback you'd have to offer. Thanks!
Like I'd mentioned previously, I did get it pierced with a captive ball ring (CBR) - some piercers may do that, or they might do two separate piercings, then replace with a ring or circular barbell once they have healed.
For me, the healing took about 9 months, and it occasionally "acts up" because of allergy shots. (Allergens getting into the piercings can cause irritation, so I try to be careful otherwise)
Also, the orbital helix was done instead of an industrial, since my ear shape doesn't lend itself to an industrial. And that healing time would be at least a year or more!
