Note - I hate having my picture taken; I'd rather stab myself in the eye with a spork. So, I just sucked it up and dealt with it, to give you pictures!





So this picture came from a Labor Day weekend road trip (I'll have to write about that one at some point, eh?). Even though Kellie took the picture, I'd still rather not have any pictures taken of me. And it's as close to a "before" pic as I can/will get.

The shirt is actually a black velour hoodie I'd gotten from Old Navy.com a month or two ago, and a brown shirt I'd bought at Old Navy last fall. :)

That is a really nice red! I loved having red except it just fades so fast.

Thank you! Yeah, that's my main issue with the red - as I'd heard a prior stylist say to me, "it's hard to get in ... easy to get out" Since my natural color is a medium/dark brown the fading isn't so bad.

My new guy (the lovely bear Travis) didn't make much of a mess at all - and what there was, he'd cleaned up right away, and no damage to the clothing! :) I'm glad that you got through yours relatively unscathed as well - that's always a good thing. {The especially good news is that I paid about the same as I would have with the prior colorist ... so, yeah "sorry, Rob - you've been replaced!"}

And the camwhore portfolio comment was something I'd thought of immediately after I'd taken my photos with the phone. I was standing at the bus stop, looking at the pics and though, "yeah ... total camwhore posing. I like it."

Thank you! It took me quite a bit of courage to get it this short. At its longest, I had it almost shoulder-length - and I'd cut it about an inch shorter every visit or every other visit. But, I do like that it's almost no-maintenance - mainly because I'm a lazy slacker!

LOVE the red! The highlights are great too, perfectly placed. My stylist had the nerve to move to Mackinaw city. She's the first/only gal I've trusted to wax my eyebrows, so now I need color, cut, AND eyebrow wax. *gasp*

I hate it when I lose a stylist or anyone else that I trust with the important stuff ... it's hard to find someone else that does the work just as well! (I've been through the same things: my brow waxer went onto a shop clear across the bay, then my hair stylist out-priced me!) I've found people that do really good work, so that totally helps!
