Friday Blahs

Depakote is still weirding me out. I've been having stomach problems (mainly serious heartburn); headaches - it's especially fun when it feels like I'm being stabbed in the eyes; tremor (kind of like the Albuterol jitters); tiredness; foot and leg cramps; and of course, the previously mentioned hair loss.


I just feel funky and grumpy and weird. And I wish that I didn't feel this way. :-/


Although, I do have a semi-happy thought, courtesy of Lewis Black:

Definately agree with the calling of the doc...

maybe he/she will tell ya that youre on too much, too little, wrong drugs, didnt do your morning happy happy joy joy dance...who the hell knows...

I noticed that i got all icky feeling when i got sick and took meds for the illness w/the keppra on an empty stomach...are ya taking anything else?

hmmph...i HATE the drug roller coaster...

Ah I've been on Depakote for almost three years now. It gets better; at least it did for me. For awhile I was all kindsa fucked up, it made me lose my mind when I first started taking it, and I had the hair loss too. Now the only side-effect I have is bad night vision. So maybe it'll get better for you.
Hang in there. I've found that it's worth it.
