So, the real reason for this comment other than inquiring after your well-being, is to alert you to an A-Ha! use for playdough....I suggest you keep a mini container in your tool collection for just these occasions.
After you have all the glass swept up, the tiny itty bitty glass crumbs that are so hard to get into the dust pan are easily gotten up with said playdough!! I learned this during my career travels in the classroom.
I would think chewing gum would serve the same purpose, but then you'd have to be sure and clean up the sticky residue.
