To all Young Voters -

First, let me say, Thank You for Voting! Regardless of your affiliation, you got out and made your opinions known.

If your candidate didn't win or the ballot measure didn't pass, and you feel like your vote didn't count for anything - don't say that. DO NOT EVER say that "My vote didn't count because my candidate/ballot measure/whatever lost - why do I even bother?" Why do you bother? Because, my lovelies, you live in America - where you can vote without having someone holding a gun to your head and forcing you to pick one candidate over another.

So your candidate or ballot measure didn't win - your vote was ONE MORE VOTE than they would've gotten otherwise, if you'd just stayed at home and not exercised your political freedom.

Continue to stay active in politics - even if your involvement is only at the local level. Local and state politics can certainly work to influence national politics, as we've seen recently.

So keep voting and keep up the good work!

Cheers!

Carly
