(no subject)

Hey everyone in LJ-Land! :-) I'm still around, just laying low for a short while - and keeping busy with work.


I've finally caught up with most of the cool kids, and bought an iPhone yesterday. What does this mean? Well, it means that I have a new "Oooh, shiny!" in my life - and I still love the current one (my computer). Honestly, it felt kind of strange to go into the Apple store, and tell the person at the register, "I want the 8G iPhone, please", because I have a hard time with making big purchases like that. Maybe it's because I don't feel like I'm worthy of something like that, you know? But, there it is - and I'll get used to it, soon enough.


In the world of the not-so-stellar, my Medic-Alert bracelet broke the other day. For some reason, the chain was getting wonky, and broke, leaving the emblem and no link to keep the bracelet together. So, I'll be spending some money on that - this time, I think I'll get a "dressy" one, and a more casual style. Because I'm a big dork like that. :-P


So, how are you all doing? I'm trying to catch up on my reading of the blogs - but I'm kind of falling behind!
