Aug. 5th, 2004 03:13 pmIf you're not close to a Sephora store - or, you'd just prefer to avoid the crowds so you can maintain your lovely Goth pallor - Sephora.com is offering free shipping on orders of $25 or more until the end of August! (Usually the free shipping is offered for orders of $75 or more.)
Anywho ... the code is: WWWSHIP, and yes, it probably is case-sensitive.
It is the Standard (Ground) Shipping - but, hey, you can buy cosmetics at 2:30 in the morning ... or in your underwear, and no one cares!
Also, Sephora sends out free samples with the orders - and you can pick your three samples from their offerings, rather than being sent random samples as picked by some stranger in the shipping department.
Speaking of swell companies that send out samples with online purchases - Stila is another great place to go. :)
Right now, they have promotions going where you get free shipping when you purchase anything from the Fall Collection until August 15th, as well as sending out a three-pack of lipstick samples with any online purchase until August 31st.
Besides that, you can register to vote through their website, and sign up for the Stila e-newsletter - which gives you notice of upcoming offers (free shipping, samples with purchase, etc.), you even get free shipping on your first order for signing up for the e-newsletter (regardless of item purchased)! Did I mention that Stila also rocks for only charging sales tax in New York (the company's HQ) and Kentucky (their shipping HQ) - well, those reasons, among 700 billion others!
If anyone else knows of any other excellent sites, along the lines of Sephora and Stila, please pass them along! I'm always looking for ways to satiate my cosmetics jones - even if I don't always use/wear what I already have!! :-/
