One Good Day Job
Apr. 9th, 2004 02:25 pmWell my lovelies, I had the interview today. It went pretty well, except for my being put on the spot with a few questions about coverage. (I kinda blanked out and turned into an idiot for a moment) Otherwise, I think it went well - I asked questions about how the clients were handled, the companies they wrote with, how were weekend claims handled, etc. In other words, I made sure to ask questions that show that I know what I'm doing, what I'm talking about & what I'm dealing in.
Afterwards, I called my recruiter & left him a message to let him know how the interview went, so on & so forth.
Even if I don't get this job, it was good practice, and gave me an idea of what I may be asked about within this line of work. (For anyone that doesn't know, at my prior agency, I started as the receptionist, then was promoted to Insurance CSR of my own volition/desire. So I've never had an interview for an Insurance CSR position until now.) In the meantime, there are other jobs to apply for, and as soon as I get my birth certificate, I can start temping with Kimco.
So there's that. I just have to fill out and mail back the application, then see what happens from there! Thanks for the good wishes, I appreciated it!
