Try A Little Silliness
May. 8th, 2003 09:10 pmAfter yesterday being a damn wierd day ... yeah, it's time to just get a little silly.
( The Apology Tour - Rick Santorum, The Dixie Chicks and Bill Bennett )
In "Call Me Oblivious...", I discovered two things: (a) I really am oblivious, and (b) People just don't check ID like they're supposed to with debit/credit cards.
Tonight, I found that I am in possession of our receptionist's debit card (she and I use the same bank) - apparently they were both switched at lunch yesterday, and neither of us bothered to check the cards - just signed off on the check and went about our day. Well, I went about my day & spent about $30 before finding out tonight that I didn't have MY card, but someone else's. Ooops! :(
Here's hoping that Denise has a good sense of humour about it & doesn't get pissed. (No worries, I do plan on paying her back - it would be just too rude of me to not pay her.)
