Feb. 13th, 2003 05:33 pmToday I was a slacker and enjoyed it. :)
I did go bowling - but skipped on the tiara because it just wouldn't be very fun to do it alone. And asking a complete stranger to photograph me ... nuh-uh. I'm rather shy as it is, and that would only make me worse. But I did use my Big Sexy Hair red glitter hairspray (good stuff - the glitter isn't obvious, but it's there if you look closely enough) and used a purple glitter bowling ball. Does that count? ;) (Besides, today was not a day to be photographed - stress from yesterday brought on a swell breakout.)
Got to watch My Big Fat Greek Wedding on DVD this morning - I love that movie. I'd gotten a copy for my mom to give to my stepdad for Valentine's Day, and apparently they stayed up until near midnight to watch it ... and loved it.
Tomorrow night, I'll be going to the movies with my family, and staying the night afterwards. I was originally planning on going to a dance studio nearby for swing dance lessons & a swing dance afterwards ... but honestly, I'd rather spend Valentines Day with people I know and love. Unfortunately, it won't be spent with Kellie - but there are more holidays yet to come. :)
Tonight, I'm doing laundry, watching a couple of films - Barenaked In America among them ... it's been a while since I've watched it, and Steve being a dork in his underwear is a good cheer-up for me. *giggling* And going to bed early. I didn't get to sleep until almost 3 a.m. last night.
It's hard - but you know, I'm managing. I'll be seeing the dogs and cat this weekend - so I get to lavish some attention on my "other" pets. Even if I'll be hitting the Allegra something awful in the process. They're worth it.
