It's Late ...

and before I go to bed, I'm posting this bit of silliness.


I have come to terms with the fact that I'm the only gay Eskimo in my Pron tribe. {The Adult Fanfic Board} And might I say, I do think that bi grrrls and dykes seem to be quite adept at writing slashfic for some reason. (Don't know why exactly, but some of the hottest stuff I've read was written by girl-lovin' girls. This isn't to say that there aren't straight girls writing some hot slash - there definitely are - but that was just an observation on my part.)

A couple of months ago, there was a small-scale emigration from bisexual {for some asinine reason, I couldn't get it to show up as a community tag} due to the moderators' frustration with people being off-topic. So, several people left the community, to go elsewhere.

I decided to not join the en masse departure, but for some reason, I'm starting to reconsider that stance. Honestly, the community is blah. It's like there's nothing to discuss - because it has to be specific to bisexuality - so one can't discuss relationships (current, previous or anticipated), queer sex, or anything else, unless it's *exactly* about a bisexual issue. Therefore, it's boring as hell.

But, if I left and wanted to get back in, I'd have to go through the moderators to get in again. And I don't feel like going through some friggin' gauntlet to join a community.

Yes, I have that lovely Sword of Damocles hanging overhead. Don't you just love it?

Of all the smart things to do ... I'd gotten rid of Liz Phair's Exile In Guyville CD eons ago, and now I've been hit with an idea for a story involving the song "Flower".

I'll find the lyrics, maybe get to writing ... see what I come up with. Besides, I'm going to see if Nessa calls tonight. If not, I'll just e-mail her before bedtime. :)

Until then, I'm gonna run off and attempt to be creative for a bit.
